A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You’ll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.

Our Operations team helps internal leaders validate and improve the reliability and effectiveness of business operations. You’ll help the team with issues related to business continuity, environmental risk, crisis management, process systems and risks associated with operations, health and safety and technology.

As a Senior Manager you will work as part of a team of problem solvers and experts, helping to solve complex business issues and associated execution. This position is ideally suited for an individual with a project excellence mindset, willing to roll-up their sleeves to get the job done.

Demonstrating intimate-level abilities and/or proven record of success in:

  • Preparing and delivering regular updates and communications to establish key stakeholders/ leadership are adequately apprised of progress, risks, and issues;

  • Leading the continued development of the SEC CoE’s training, communications and knowledge management programme, and Quality Review Program, based on guidance and input from SEC CoE Leadership;

  • Collaborating with project managers and operations/project leaders across other Global Independence initiatives and programmes;

  • Supporting a multi-territory team, working with Global Independence, SEC CoE and Territory Independence leaders to drive the continued maturity of Global Independence’s SEC Centre of Excellence (CoE);

  • Assisting/driving decision making and/or risk mitigation by establishing clear communication, consideration of all factors, generation of solutions to problems, and defined actionable plans that are implemented;

  • Preparing and delivering regular, effective communications to ensure key stakeholders/ leadership are adequately apprised of progress, risks, and issues;

  • Leading the continued development of the SEC CoE’s training, communications and knowledge management programmes;

  • Assisting with the execution of the SEC CoE Quality Review Program;

  • Collaborating with project managers and operations/project leaders across other Global Independence initiatives and programmes;.

  • Utilizing written and verbal communication to develop business updates;

  • Utilizing project management skills in the execution operations strategic priorities;

  • Demonstrating ability to leverage tools and techniques for research, analysis, and problem solving;

  • Possessing organizational and time management skills and ability to work independently;

  • Possessing a proactive work style, and ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines, coping with different time zones and cultural diversity;

  • Demonstrating interpersonal skills with ability to network and interact with senior staff;

  • Demonstrating a high level of commitment, energy and enthusiasm;

  • Learning quickly and applying knowledge to meet a range of tasks and demands,

  • Demonstrating ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships; and,

  • Supporting a multi-territory team to drive the continued maturity of Global Independence’s SEC Centre of Excellence (CoE) and additional Independence CoEs as deployed.
