Required Knowledge and Skills :

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success with the following:

  • Thorough understanding of the end to end compliance operations process;

  • Working knowledge of HCP engagement, grants management, spend transparency and other systems utilized in business and compliance operations;

  • Ability to lead and collaborate tech teams to design, implement and operate systems for clients; and,

  • Experience with service operations supporting business and compliance processes either as an internal business partner or external consulting.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success with Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Risk and Regulatory business processes and global and US transparency requirements, especially developing applications to manage these business processes.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success managing client engagement teams that design and develop data management architecture and technology solutions, including:

– Evaluating enterprise data architecture feasibility, risk and technologies related to business change- i.e. assessing, identifying and recommending technology and related business stakeholders' data requirements; solution prototyping and development; processes and performance from business and technical standpoints; and the impact of data changes on business and/or IT processes;

– Advising C-suite executives on emerging data management technologies and strategies consistent with clients' business strategies;

– Prioritizing, preparing and implementing data architectural improvements i.e. developing and recommending alternative technical and data management solutions, methodologies, strategies and architectural improvement plans; and,

– Developing and validating business stakeholders' conceptual data models, including socializing and implementing logical and physical solutions; identifying data sources and metadata to deliver requirements. Prior success in having completed two or more full life cycle implementations is preferred.

Demonstrates proven extensive ability to interact with end users to understand and document business and functional requirements for complex projects, emphasizing the full software development life cycle, application development, data management tools, and other related technologies that include the following areas:

– Enterprise data management, web application development; data modeling, integration and/or synchronization, quality, security, conversion and analysis; database administration; and/or enterprise data management policies, procedures, compliance and risk management;

– Architecture, design and development of enterprise technology solutions, including utilizing leading ETL and the ability to architect a solution;

– Design and development of data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching that leverages knowledge within data, master data, metadata and technology management; and,

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success leading client-facing consulting teams, including:

– Communicating with clients and staff in an organized and knowledgeable manner;

– Leveraging project management and facilitation skills, especially with leading and facilitating teams and developing client proposals;

– Managing multiple, complex projects with medium to large staff teams;

– Identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials;

– Developing risk management programs, including risk monitoring and reporting, risk assessment and prioritization, and the facilitation of the definition of an organization's risk appetite and risk tolerance in alignment with their organization's strategy;

– Creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.
