A career in our Financial Services Enabling Technologies practice, within Industry and Functional Apps services, will provide you with the opportunity to build secure and new digital experiences for customers, employees, and suppliers. We focus on improving apps or developing new apps for traditional and mobile devices as well as conducting usability testing to find ways to improve our clients’ user experience.

As part of our team, you’ll help clients harness technology systems in financial services focusing on areas such as insurance, sales performance management, retirement and pension, asset management, and banking & capital markets.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in working with Core Banking Platforms with a specific focus on Gen 2 or Gen 3 Core Platform, as well as the following:

  • Conceptualizing, presenting and executing ideas within a tight schedule, with particular emphasis on serving as a technical lead on development projects with on-shore and off-shore components, or a team lead or architect across multiple software development projects; and,

  • Progressing in professional IT roles of increasing responsibility from Team Lead to Program and/or Project Manager across multiple technology implementation systems.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success utilizing the following technologies to provide architecture cloud computing and virtualization-based solutions that include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Core Banking Platforms -focus on Gen 2, Gen 3 Core Platform (e.g. Thought Machine-Vault, Technisys, Finxact, FIS MBP, etc.);

  • Side-server scripting language: Python; and,

  • Knowledge and experience working within the Agile delivery framework.

Proven extensive track record of success leading and managing business development opportunities and/or engagements from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and signoff, as well as:

  • Consistent and extensive knowledge of utilizing creative problem-solving abilities and a consistent consultancy mindset;

  • Proven intimate knowledge of researching problems and/or issues and developing and offering effective solutions for clients' initiatives related to Core Banking Platforms; and,

  • Ability to develop strategy leveraging ability to write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently for all levels of industry audiences, clients, and internal staff and management utilizing whitepapers, studies and client briefings.

Demonstrates extensive abilities as a team leader exemplifying the following:

  • Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;

  • Participating in various staff recruitment and retention activities; and,

  • Coaching staff to include providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
